Kurukshetra-the victor is the survivor” winds up in grand style

Pune, December 7, 2010: The four day action packed sporting battle finally concluded yesterday at FLAME. FLAME was declared winners in 7 games at “Kurukshetra-The Victor is the Survivor”, the 4 day event comprising various sporting activities. The competition was held at the FLAME campus from the December 9 – 12 December 2010 which hosted 30 colleges from Pune. The closing ceremony was graced by veteran tennis player Nandan Bal who presided as the chief guest for the event.

Commenting on this occasion, chief guest Nandan Bal said, “The people in India are gradually starting to understand the importance of sports as a career. We must encourage sports from the grass root level and India will soon emerge as a country which would create legendary sportspersons”

“Firstly my heartiest congratulations to the winners and to those who haven’t won – there is always a next chance to perform better next year. We hope every college that participated in this event enjoyed every moment at FLAME. We wish to provide a blend of academic and sport excellence to our students every year.
