La Joya High School Announces Class Reunion for Classes of 1995, 1996, and 1997

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 5, 2011 -- La Joya High School in La Joya, TX has announced the 15th Year Coyote Reunion is being held in 2011. Student Body / Class Presidents from the surrounding classes (Alex Mendiola-1995 and Alisa De Luna-1997) have also agreed to co-host so that all 3 classes may gather to celebrate and remember. Additionally, while not co-hosting, the reunion is happy to informally welcome classmates from the Classes of 1994 and 1998!

7 class officers and classmates have been confirmed to the Planning Committee and the group has found over 200 classmates since launching at http://facebook.com/groups/lajoya . The Committee also has 2 Honorary Members who represent the Class of 1972 and 1973, one of whom is a current teacher at the High School, and was the Sr. Class Sponsor for the reuniting classes.

The committee launched this week a Twitter account at http://twitter.com/LaJoyaReunion in order to help raise awareness and to further locate additional classmates through social media and networking. Classmates are encouraged to follow @LaJoyaReunion for ongoing event announcements.

Confirmed events to date, in addition to the Main Reunion Event, include a Drama Student Reunion, Ms. Pat Garza's Former Students, and in the works is a possible group outing to cheer on the current HS Football Team, among many other exciting reunion events!
