La Pine Oregon to Offer Combat Veteran PTSD Support Group

The veterans of La Pine, in cooperation with the Central Oregon Vet Center, are offering free a PTSD support group.

Local veterans and the Central Oregon Vet Center offer a new PTSD support group for war zone veterans in La Pine, Oregon. A much needed service, the PTSD support group allows local veterans the opportunity to receive professional support without traveling out of the area. If you have PTSD from service in a war zone, are unsure, or just want to learn more, you are encouraged to attend.
The PTSD support group meets every Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:30am at the conference room of the County Services Building (51340 Hwy 97). Go to the next complex south of the Shop Smart grocery store (same side of the hwy.) and to the east entrance.
For more information, please call Debbe Hemmer, LPC at Central Oregon Vet Center (541-749-2112) or just show up on Tuesdays. All sessions are free.
