(Free-Press-Release.com) April 21, 2011 --
Lacey City Council candidate, Raymond H. Payne, Jr., has pledged to continue doing what he does every day, ride mass transit to and from work, to mark Earth Day 2011. Payne believes partisan politics should be taken out of climate change and sustainability issues in an effort to get at the best available science, so that policy makers are free to make informed choices.
Payne states further, whether we, our children, or our children’s children have the resources to live life as we know it well into the future is not a Republican, Democrat, conservative, or liberal issue, but a humankind issue.
Payne will attend the Earth Day Celebration, April 23, 2011, at the LOTT Wet Science Center in Olympia, Washington with his children.
Payne encourages all Lacey residents to get take part in Earth Day in their own way.
