Ladies Self Defense Seminar To Benefit Haitian Orphanage
Quest Academy of Martial Arts is offering to the public a Ladies Self Defense Seminar to raise money for an orphanage in Haiti. The seminar will take place in Tulsa, OK on February 20th, 2010.

Quest Academy of Martial Arts is offering to the public a Ladies Self Defense Seminar to raise money for the Hope Village Orphanage in Les Cayes, Haiti. Seminar participants will each pay $15 to attend the seminar which is being taught by Mr. Brian Twitty, a 4th Degree Black Belt and Head Instructor at Quest Academy. Mr. Twitty has more than 14 years experienc in the martial arts and has been teaching self defense seminars in the Tulsa area for the past 9 years. Hope Village Orphanage is home to more than 600 Haitian children ranging in age from 4 years to 17 years. For more information about the orphanage, please visit http://www.freethekids.org.
The seminar is designed for women, ages 12 and older, who have had no previous experience in martial arts. The seminar participants will learn basic self defense moves which will work in a variety of situations including basic striking techniques, defenses from body and clothing grabs, defense from sexual assaults, and more.
The seminar will be held at the Charles Schusterman Jewish Community Center at 2021 E. 71st St. S. in Tulsa, OK from 1pm to 2:30pm.
