LaGrange, Georgia invites you to join us for the 10th Anniversary of the LaGrange Hydrangea Festival on June 10-13, 2010
More than a dozen artists from the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange will be showing their work this Saturday and Sunday as part of the 2010 Hydrangea Festival.

The Marquis de Lafayette statue will be surrounded by a profusion of pink and blue blossoms when the 10th Annual Hydrangea Festival, http://cityoflagrange.com/businesses/hyfest.html, blooms on LaFayette Square.
The festival includes an old-fashioned garden party, a "“Picnic with the Pops"” concert, a Parisian Marketplace, private garden tours, musical entertainment, and a family bike ride.

http://www.vaalart.com The fun kicks off on Thursday when 1,600 visitors peddle into town as part of the Bicycle Riders Across Georgia's annual trek and are met with entertainment and the debut of Fifi, the French skunk mascot of the Hydrangea Festival.
Thursday, June 10:
11:00 a.m. More than 1,600 visitors arrive with Bicycle Ride Across Georgia (BRAG).
5 pm -9 pm Downtown area restaurants and entertainment. Shuttle service provided between Westside Magnet School, downtown area and Lafayette Parkway hotels from 5-9 pm.
Sunset Movie under the Stars on LaFayette Square and visit by Fifi Le Fleur, the French skunk mascot of the Hydrangea Festival.
Friday, June 11:
Sunrise: Town gives send-off for BRAG cyclists.
Shuttle: Shuttle provided between Westside Magnet School and Lafayette Parkway hotels.
6-9pm Old Fashioned Garden Party & Wine Tasting at Ferrell Gardens at Hills & Dales Estate; $50/person; limited number of tickets, so purchase tickets early. LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce, 706-884-8671.
Saturday, June 12:
7am-10am Beignets & Coffee – Enjoy chicory coffee and French fritters known as beignets.
8am-10 am Market on Main - grab a tote and stroll along Main Street to the open-air market (near the Carmike Cinema) for farm-fresh vegetables and colorful flowers, fresh-baked goodies, savory dips and other homemade treats.
10am-5pm Parisian Marketplace (around Square) -Southern artists show their original works, including soapstone bowls and exquisite pens crafted from Southern hardwoods. Hear musical groups performing throughout the day. Browse among three-gallon pots of hydrangeas for sale. Have your children go hands-on with an art project and enjoy a visit with Fifi. Attention parents – great photo ops!
10am-5pm Private Home Garden Tours; $20/person adult, $15/person senior, $10/person child. Enter stamped ticket into large drawing at stage for prizes; shuttle from Chamber Plaza to private gardens via WGH vans.
10am-5pm Flower Show at chamber building.
10am-5pm Children's Art Show display at chamber building.
