LARRY GULI TO PERFORM AT LA LUPA FEST

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 14, 2010 -- Topanga, Calif…A spectacular evening of entertainment will unfold when theatergoers get a chance to see well known actor Larry Guli appear in excepts from “Six Characters in Search of an Author” at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga, Calif., Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.

Regarded as one of the most influential plays of the 20th century, “Six Characters in Search of an Author” was first performed in Rome in 1921. Written by Italian playwright, poet and novelist Luigi Pirandello (1867-1936), this special performance features Guli in the staring role of the father.



“I am really excited about this role,” says Guli. The La Lupa Fest is the first Italian Cultural Arts Festival of its kind in Los Angeles and it is definitely a privilege to be part of this outstanding celebration of contemporary Italian and Italo-American artists from a variety of disciplines.”



Guli, whose family hails from Palermo, Italy, has been acting for the past ten years. At home in both comedy and drama, Guli is well-versed in how to tell a story and impact an audience.

“Acting has been my long time dream”, says Guli and I consider my self lucky to be able to pursue my dream. For me, my life experiences are a big advantage in character portrayal, as is my business acumen. I know how to interact with people of all levels, I know how to be professional and I love performing.”



Bringing together emerging and established Italian and Italian American artists in Theater, Film, Fine Art, Dance, Music, poetry and the Culinary Arts, this two day event will serve to broaden the Los Angeles Community by creating a unique festival that will showcase the magnificence and creativity of these artists.
