MEDIA, PA, March 7, 2011 -- Publisher & CEO Adrian Hoppel of TCJ Publishing, LLC, today announced the release of “ANTICIPATION”, the latest issue of The College Journal. This issue, featuring original art, fiction, film, music, and poetry of college students, is free and immediately available for reading through an App designed for Apple iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch®, as well as online for reading with a computer.
“ANTICIPATION” features the original art of Lindsay Rose Kelbe (New York University) and Kevin Smalley (Kent State University; the original fiction of Leani Lopez (Lyndon State College); the original music of Tafari (University of Miami), Mz Marrowz (Full Sail University), N’Playaz (National Aviation University, Ukraine); the original film of Sean Meehan (Boston College); and the original poetry of Gabrielle Canon (University of Southern California), Robin Kincaid Crigler (Williams College), and A.R. Whittaker (Butte College).
“The original work in this issue is truly exceptional,” said Adrian Hoppel, Publisher & CEO of TCJ Publishing, LLC. “This issue, “ANTICIPATION”, delivers rich, layered, and complex material. We could not be prouder of all the students; their work is a credit to the universities and colleges they attend. For our staff, “ANTICIPATION” represents a few milestones: it contains our first international submission, and it contains the very first work ever submitted to us by a student. It is a special issue.”
The College Journal is primarily designed for the iPad, but is also optimized and available for the iPhone, iPod touch, and personal computers. Previous issues were available for free on the computer, but at a cost on every other device. “ANTICIPATION” is available for free on all devices.
“We want as many people as possible to download and enjoy this issue on their iPad,” states Hoppel. “AlthoughThe College Journal is beautiful on a computer or iPhone or iPod touch, the design, style and functionality really shine on the iPad. The ability to really explore the art, read the fiction, watch the film, listen to the music, read the poems - or have them read to you, in fact - is really magical.”
The issue can be read online at www.thecollegejournal.com/magazine/, and is currently available as a free download from the Apple App Store.
