"Funny video sites suck generally. They let any idiot post any fool thing they find on the net. Most of it is just another video of a guy getting kicked in the balls. At FunnyFilth we want a video that has that something more....like a parapalegic getting kicked in the balls. That's funny cuz he wouldn't feel....oh never mind."

Obviously Funny Filth is not a site for those easily offended. In fact they call their team of submitters, "The Filthy Bastards". The new members undergo a rigorous selection process with a fair amount of hazing and the majority of applicants are turned away.

One of the other things that makes Funny Filth a unique site is the low level of spam. Most video sites utilize pop-unders or video overlays to sell advertising, but they have a different approach at this funny video site. Shawn and his team have taken a different approach:

"We don't want to make millions off this site, we just love funny videos and we wanted a great place to share them with our friends. That's all this site is. The ads we do have are just there to pay for the sites server costs. Sadly video sites can be expensive to maintain. In fact most of the funding for the site comes from a T-Shirt site I also run."

Funny Filth has been on the net for about a year now and is steadily growing in membership and readership. As well the number of videos has vastly grown, with daily updates of almost 10-20 new videos, readers have to almost check daily to keep abreast of new content.
