LawFiles.net attorneys have answered over 1,100 free legal questions submitted by users. The LawFiles project is on is way to meeting its initial goal of providing 5,000 answers to law questions.

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 11, 2010 -- After three years of operation, attorneys participating in the LawFiles project have provided over 1,100 free answers to legal questions.

LawFiles is a question and answer website. Users submit legal questions, and attorneys provide free answers.

Lawyers volunteer to answer questions for free on LawFiles.net. In exchange, they:

1. have an opportunity to give something back,
2. gain exposure for their law practices,
3. are listed in our widely-searched database of lawyers, and

4. demonstrate their expertise in one or more areas of law.

The legal questions that are answered are search-able by the public. This growing database of legal questions and answers will help others who have the same or similar questions.

The project started because other more established question and answer websites started charging for answers. This proved to be a problem for participating attorneys.

LawFiles set an ambitious goal to provide 5,000 free legal answers in its first year of operations all the while relying on volunteer attorneys and computer programmers. With over 1,100 legal questions answered, LawFiles is well on its way to achieving its goal.
