FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 24, 2011 -- Plans are underway for the second annual ‘Ontario Craft Beer Week’ hosted by Ontario Craft Brewers (OCB) from June 19 – 25, 2011. Ontario Breweries, pubs, restaurants and venues are busily creating unique events that will showcase and celebrate the great flavours and popular culture of Ontario Craft Beer. New beer-themed occasions are being added to the website regularly.

Preparations for the 2nd Annual Ontario Craft Beer Week are in full swing, and early indications are it will eclipse last year’s runaway success.

The week-long, province-wide celebration of craft beer kicks off on Father’s Day 2011, and will run in communities throughout Ontario from June 19 – 25, 2011.

Ontario Craft Beer Week will feature a series of special events designed to expose beer lovers to the craft beer experience with tasting events, brewery tours, cooking demonstrations, food pairings, beer dinners, and much more. Activities will take place in breweries, restaurants, bars and outdoor venues throughout the province.

This is a great time for those in attendance of events to talk about Beer at your local convenience stores across Ontario. For years the general feeling has been why are we limited to what the LCBO decides we can be served or Jeff Newton who runs the Beer Store decides.

Having an incredible Craft Brewery Industry in Ontario along with the http://www.ontariocraftbrewers.com/ promoting the Industry one would expect that the Political Powers coming for the Fall Provincial Election would entertain the idea of a broader not limited marketing of Ontario Beers.

How is the question? Use of social media and create support this campaign by sending the supplied letters and Petitions to the list of Politicians in Ontario that will react. Making this a Platform issue in the Fall election is how.

Below is an option for a plan that can be easily passed and would set the stage to maintain the LCBO as a purchasing power and a distribution arm.
