Leading Exterior Facility Maintenance Co., Lipinski Outdoor Services Holds Holiday Drive For Troops

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 20, 2009 -- Lipinski Outdoor Services, a leading exterior facilities management company specializing in commercial landscaping, snow removal, parking lot maintenance and power washing, along with Dynamic Defense Materials, creator of the McCurdy’s Armor portable armored wall system, has recently organized a Support Our Troops Holiday Drive in order to show appreciation for a group of US Army troops stationed in Afghanistan.

The two companies, both founded by Robert A. Lipinski, reached out to students at Demasi Middle School and Pitman Memorial Elementary School for help writing warm holiday messages for the troops.

“The children really did a great job coloring pictures and writing caring messages to the members of our armed forces,” reports Douglas Cook, President of Lipinski Outdoor Services. “It is an honor for both Lipinski Outdoor Services & Dynamic Defense Materials to show the US troops how much they are cared for and appreciated. These individuals deserve a great deal of thanks and well-wishes for a safe and joyous holiday season.”

In addition to the handwritten greetings, care packages consisting of holiday cards, basic necessities, nonperishable items, calling cards and sweets were packaged, wrapped and shipped to 100 service personnel in Afghanistan.

According to Cook, much of the drive was made possible by sponsors who provided discounts and donations on items for the care packages. “We want to thank all of the individuals and companies involved for their help,” he says. “We also want to extend our warm holiday wishes to the families, friends and loved ones of our troops.”
