LeighAnn H. Costley Joins UHY Advisors As Tax Principal; Top National Tax and Business Consulting Provider Launches New Southeastern Tax Practice Group

ATLANTA, September 15, 2009 – UHY Advisors GA Inc. today announced the appointment of LeighAnn H. Costley as the firm’s newest Principal in the Atlanta office and the launch of its new Southeast Tax Practice Group. Costley will lead the new Tax Practice group from the Atlanta office. Nationally, UHY Advisors is one of the top 15 professional services firms specializing in business consulting and tax services to public and private companies in the Fortune 1000 and middle market.

Costley has more than 15 years of experience providing corporate and personal tax planning, compliance and consulting services to clients and has an extensive knowledge base regarding the federal and state taxation of individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations. She specializes in serving private businesses and their owners in the manufacturing, real estate and professional services industries.

Costley, 36, resides in the Druid Hills area of Atlanta. She is a former Director at Deloitte Tax LLP, where she led the Atlanta office’s Private Client Advisors group.

Costley has a Masters of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Kate’s Club, Inc., a non-profit organization that empowers children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling.
