Lennar Shows Support For Waccamaw Youth Center

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 12, 2011 -- Myrtle Beach, SC--- The Coastal Carolina Division of Lennar recently presented Waccamaw Youth Center, a non-profit residential care facility for abused and neglected children in Charleston, with a $5,000 donation.

“Lennar has been actively involved with Waccamaw Youth Center for more than five years and we understand how important the facility is to children in need,” said Robert Hilliard, president of Lennar’s Coastal Carolina Division.

Throughout the years, Lennar has hosted birthday events and holiday parties for the children at Waccamaw Youth Center and has helped with the facility’s general maintenance items including landscaping, painting, repairing and building.

“It’s not just about donating money, but giving of our time and our hearts, on a continuing and connected basis, to help make our Community a better place and to help those who may not be able to help themselves,” Hilliard said.
