Leotek Lighting Illuminates Couche-Tard Convenience and Petrol Stores

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 15, 2012 -- MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA – February 13, 2012 – Couche-Tard, one of Canada’s largest convenience and petrol stores, has successfully partnered with Leotek in order to make the transition to energy-efficient general illumination LED lighting. Leotek’s products were installed in the Couche-Tard Saint-Lin, Sainte-Sophie and Saint-Jean locations. After installation, the stores saw significant energy and maintenance savings, in addition to enhanced light levels.

The Couche-Tard convenience and petrol stores utilized Leotek’s full line of LED lighting products for exterior and interior applications, including LCN Series Canopy Luminaires, SLN Series Parking/Area Luminaires, LSF Series Soffit Luminaires, LWS Series Wall Sconces, and CL5 Series Lite-Stiks and Cooler Lights. The Leotek luminaires were used to light the fuel pump canopy, brighten the parking lot, provide security and general lighting for the building, enhance the brand image signing, and illuminate the refrigerated displays.

Couche-Tard’s switch to Leotek’s energy saving LEDs means the store will see a lower annual cost of ownership when compared to the costs of traditional light sources. The Couche-Tard stores have averaged over 60% savings on reduced energy and maintenance costs. Leotek’s LEDs are also virtually maintenance free and are backed by a limited five-year warranty.
