Lest We Forget Project could be cancelled by the Government.

March 3, 2010

We want to keep the Lest We Forget Program. This is an announcement from Bozonessinc Productions as a plea to keep the program.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 3, 2010 -- (Site: lwf.bozonessinc.com)
Those Words are the words every Canadian feels about the Wars in which Canadians gave themselves up in the Wars. It’s a way of us saying that we will never forget what they did for us. It means that I will accept the achievements of this soldier and that they will become my focus and remembrance.

Each Soldier, individually made a contribution to Canada, but we Remember them all together, and don’t take the time to recognize the contributions of each soldier. Every soldier was a person just like you & I, they came to earth, had friends, worked hard. When we die we have a proper burial and have many come to our Funerals. When these soldiers died it was a time of War and may not have been remembered as well as we would be.
But, yet these are brave Men & Women who were fighting for us, don’t they deserve our remembrance? Every one of them?

A program invented by Blake Seward wanted all Students to have the chance to recognize the achievements of one soldier and remember that soldier and be the only one in the world to really think about that exact soldier. The project was a success, students would do some studying on the soldier through the internet, then come to Library & Archives Canada to look at the actual file of that Soldier with the assistance of staff from Library & Archives Canada.
The Government has decided that this program is costing them to much money, and would like to make it a completely virtual program. Even though, sources with knowledge of the project tell me they estimate the costs at around 50k per year, which is almost nothing compare to the deficits that the government has. This program could be paid with the taxes from Student Paycheques in One Province and more. The government says that the program will be “more” available if they move all of the files to the internet and remove the Library & Archives staff who work for that program.

Wait.. This program is ALREADY available to students across Canada, who can request a photocopy be sent to their school if they are unable to attend Ottawa although schools from Alberta even fly/drive to Ottawa for this program.
The end of this program has brought the attention of multiple national news sources, including the Globe & Mail and the Ottawa Sun, in a Globe & Mail article featuring my class the article explains the need for this program.
Again, came along those who don’t want this program around started to comment.

Bozonessinc Productions, a Student run Company, wants to keep this program for Canadian Children and we ask the government to keep this program around for this students of tomorrow. We will fight until the end for Canadian Students because we believe in this program. We hope that the government of Canada will understand our plea and respect our call to attention for the government of Canada.
