(Free-Press-Release.com) January 14, 2010 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

So what does Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, Jay Leno and George Lopez all have in common? They are all seemingly past their prime, which leaves room for the emergence of an unsullied face in the Late Night talk show circuit, and he goes by the moniker of Motown Maurice – a young, burgeoning star, whose reverence and appreciation for the untainted eras of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s -where people were judged by their talents, and willingness to give to their audiences their money’s worth, will undoubtedly have audience members feeling as if they have just stepped from beyond the corridors of a time machine.

Baring his pseudo, “The Motown Maurice Show” will be a great concoction of well-scripted monologues, entertaining video parodies, celebrity and musical guests that span across the decades, as well as specialty acts. The show is even massive enough to bring out legendary actress, Bern Nadette Stanis, the quick witted, sexy savvy and the original “It” girl, Thelma Evans, from the groundbreaking, first African-American sitcom, “Good Times,” a show that focused on an inner-city family from Chicago, living in the city’s projects. Stanis, who is also a trained dancer, can be seen ‘til this day on television daily, in her role as Thelma Evans, gave an unparallel depiction of what it was like to grow up as a female in the ‘ghetto’ in the 70’s, gracing the role with style and class, showing that though she had sex appeal and good looks, her struggles were commensurable to any young, urban youth looking to survive in the perils of the ‘hood, and with the support of her strong family-base, she was able to rise above any obstacle that often plagued her and her family.

As we fast forward to 2010, allowing for the ‘good times’ to still follow, Stanis, who is also a well sought after keynote and motivational speaker, will be sitting down with Motown Maurice in the Tampa, Florida studios of “The Motown Maurice Show,” on January 23, 2010, to discuss not only “Good Times,” but her book, ‘Situations 101: Relationships The Good, The Bad & The Ugly,’ and her poetry book, ‘For Men Only.’ As she helps to kick off the show’s debut with ‘old-school’ pride, paving the way for an abundance of other renowned acts that will be sure to embody a line-up of nothing but timeless talents.
