Life's a Butch holds off on production until star recoups.

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 12, 2010 -- Reports out of Hollywood that the producers and writers of Life's a Butch starring Butch Patrick have announced the production on the new show will be haulted until the star is strong enough to continue filming.
The situation comedy which is loosely based on Patrick himself being a 50 something actor who really has not seen a level of success since being a child star some 5 decades prior made a huge impact on You Tube when the release of the first webisode was made public in the summer.

"As the executive producer and co-creator of the show Life's a Butch, John Rose expressed how happy the cast and crew of the show are that Butch has finally taken the steps to get his life in order".
Co-Creator and head writer Tony Guma says "The show Life's a Butch though a scripted show, deals with the up's and down's of being a childhood celebrity."

Fans have poured in expressing their support for Butch on his facebook page Go Butch Go and on the Life's a Butch website.

The 57 year old actor checked himself into rehab after admitting to a lifetime problem with drug and alcohol abuse. A video taped message to his fans including his admission of his problem and his apologizing for the people he hurt was recorded for TMZ and will air at their discretion.
