1st you select the pose you like and we make a negative mold followed by creating your "original" casting in a type of plaster. Cost is about $500.

The 2nd step is to select the media you wish your sculpture to be created in. Carl’s media of choice is Glass. It is possible for you to have a sculpture made in metal, ceramics or other exotic media.

The 3rd step is to create a reproduction mold for the type of media you have selected. Cost is about $1,000 or more.

The last step in the process is creating the actual sculpture. The time frame to complete your sculpture in is between 4-6 weeks. Cost varies a lot but starts around $2,500.

Pricing Estimates. . .

*An average 3/4 front Female Torso (above photo) reproduced in glass currently has an estimated cost of $10,000. There are many variables. The cost of a Ceramic sculpture is in the vicinity of $6,000. A Metal sculpture can cost $8,000 or more. Since no one else makes glass or ceramic figurative sculpture reproductions... investing in glass or ceramics should preserve the value of your piece - it could easily appreciate in value.

*Calculating the exact cost for your work of art requires a personal consultation and depends on the variables of the pose you select along with the details of the commission agreement we will prepare for you.
