Free of cost healthcare facilities are provided to underprivileged rural and hilly people of the Himalayan foothills of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh by Akal Charitable Hospital at Baru Sahib in Himachal Pradesh. Now, ACH, Baru Sahib has geared up to provide more facilities to its poor and needy patients by installing “The Intelect Advanced Therapy System” which is approved by US food and drug administration (FDA).All extensive modalities required in an infirmary such as, electrotherapy, ultrasound, combination, laser and EMG, are now included in one unit available in the Department of Physiotherapy (unit of Akal Charitable Hospital).
