LIFEWORK PROFESSIONALS GROUP ANNOUNCES 2,010 BOOK DRIVE FOR INMATES

March 24, 2010 ~ Waukegan, Illinois.

Bernadette Washington and Lifework Professionals Group (LPG) announce the 2,010 Book Drive for Inmates. Beginning April 12, 2010, Ms. Washington and Lifework Professionals Group will begin collecting money in an effort to provide 2,010 inmates with a Biblically based journal book that will assist the inmate with building their self-confidence and self-esteem. Lifework Professionals Group will then deliver a copy of Ms. Washington’s book, “It’s Better to Know YOURSELF, Daily Confessions” to each of the women. Ms. Washington will also be part of a monthly Biblically inspired book club in conjunction with the prison ministry leaders at Dwight Correctional Center in Dwight, IL.

Ms. Washington’s book, “It’s Better to Know YOURSELF, Daily Confessions” provides the reader with a clear understanding of how God sees them. The confessions will produce a habit that will unleash a profitable healthy sense of self.

Ms. Washington believes its imperative for the community to be a part of rehabilitating those that will someday be released back into it again. Givers can opt to purchase the book for an inmate they know and Lifework Professionals Group will ship it to that inmate. The cost of the book is $10.00, plus shipping and handling; however Lifework Professionals Group is asking givers to chip in only what they can. Ms. Washington states, “It is our goal to use some of the proceeds to assist in the needs of individuals and families in the area of personal development, so they may be able to live and maintain a productive life.”
