Lincoln MKZ Ranked Highest In J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study

Power and Associates has just ranked the Lincoln MKZ sedan as a top pick for long term durability based off their annual 2012 Vehicle Dependability Study. In addition to this, the Lincoln MKX was ranked second among all Midsize Premium Crossovers by J.D. Power and Associates for 2012.

J.D. Power and Associates judges the inherent dependability of a vehicle by interviewing owners about any malfunctions or problems that they have experienced in the past year since owning the car (2012 awards are for 2009 models). Car owners were asked to choose from a list of over 200 problems that could have possibly occurred since buying the car. Each vehicle was compared against others in respective categories. Lincoln’s MKZ received the top ratings for the Entry Premium Car category.
