Linda Barnett of Indianapolis, Indiana Named Finalist for the Real Estate Staging Associations 2012 Professional Home Stager of the Year award.

The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), an international association that provides support to all Professional Real Estate Stagers, has announced that Linda Barnett, founder of Home Matters, Home Staging, Redesign and Training Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, is a Region 2 finalist for the 2012 RESA Professional Stager of the year award. Regions 2 include the states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota and Iowa. The International winner will be announced at the RESA conference held at Las Vegas on January 31st to February 2nd, 2012. Barnett has been a past nominee of this award in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Barnett- Who has also been asked to share her expertise as a Round Table Facilitator at the upcoming 2012 Real Estate Staging Associations (RESA) International conference in Las Vegas states “It is very special to me to be asked to facilitate the round table on How to run your home staging business like a brokerage and I am absolutely delighted to be named one of the regional finalists for Professional stager of the year.” The RESA International conference is known to be the only one of its kind by providing all International Stagers regardless of their designations or affiliations an opportunity to gather for professional development in the Home Staging Industry.

Barnett-A Staging professional, interior decorator, former realtor and Home Staging Trainer- founded Home Matters Home Staging and Redesign in early 2004 and today operates one of the most prolific Home Staging companies in Indiana having serviced over 1,500 clients with 6 design/staging specialist. Linda was trained in 2004 as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and extended her education in 2008 by becoming SAR Certified and again in 2009 by becoming certified as a CSP. Barnett is a recent graduate of the Staging and Redesign Advanced Staging Course taught by Matthew Finlason, star of the HGTV series “The Stagers”. Barnett earned the RESA-PRO designation in October 2010. Barnett is a Home Staging Instructor for the Staging and Redesign (SAR) company and is also an Indiana State certified instructor through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency and the Indiana Real Estate Commission offering certified training to Home Stagers and Real Estate agents including a GRI Continued Education class for the Indiana Association of Realtors at the IUPUI Campus at Kokomo, Indiana. Linda was also the recipient of the coveted “Angies List Super Service Award” for 2010.
