Albany, NY, February 22, 2011 – Linium Education Services and the itSMF Nashville LIG Present an ITSM Workshop: Blast Off from Nashville with a FREE, Apollo 13 IT Service Management Experiential Learning Simulation The Linium team in conjunction with itSMF Nashville LIG and nationally renowned ITIL guru - Ralph Nabicht will host a 4-hour sessions of hands-on, rocket-fueled exploration of ITSM - through an interactive, Apollo 13 mission simulator training at Nashville's one and only Gaylord Opryland Hotel on March 16th 2011. Attendees will experience first-hand how ITSM best practices to improve business performance and profitability brought our Apollo 13 astronauts home safely in 1970. One 4-hour simulation training session is scheduled to launch from 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Students will experience ITIL® concepts and processes through an interactive simulation game that uses real-life situations taken from the Apollo 13 mission. Throughout the training game various ITIL® processes are necessary to enable ground staff and the crew to resolve problems and to make timely changes to the spacecraft configuration and its trajectory. A post "mission" review will include ITSM best practices in configuration management, problem management, service-level management and change management.
