Le Mont Saint Garage’s managing director Dave Beausire said the performance by FUSE was a way to mark the event in style. “We are now one of only a small number of dealerships outside of continental Europe that’s can boast the Fiat, Abarth and now Alfa Romeo brands and we wanted to do something special to show off this huge achievement by a family- operated Guernsey company.”

FUSE is rock electric violinists, Ben Lee and Linzi Stoppard, known as the "prince and princess of the violin world". The FUSE duo are the only string group in the world to be officially sponsored by Swarovski Crystal who created an exclusive one-off pair of Fuse Signature Crystal Violins worth over One Million Pound each. Following in the footsteps of international superstars Madonna, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue, FUSE's Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee joined forces with Swarovski to embellish each of their bespoke Bridge instruments with an incredible 50,000 crystals each, every one hand-applied, creating the world's most expensive electric violins.

In 2010 Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee have performed live on TV to an audience of over 100 million plus appearances at GQ Men of the Year Awards, Glastonbury and London Fashion Week. The duo’s breakthrough debut album, ‘FUSE’ is available on Edel Records / Universal Music. The new Giulietta, designed by the Alfa Romeo Style Centre, is a five-door hatchback, with strong Alfa Romeo design cues, equipped with impressive dynamic capability for the most demanding routes, while providing comfort on everyday journeys. This is thanks to its new Compact platform which, in conjunction with the refined technical solutions employed for the suspension, the dual pinion active steering, and high quality materials and manufacturing technologies implemented, allows the Giulietta to achieve excellent performance both in terms of on-board comfort as well as dynamic and safety features (active and passive).

The name of the new car is an obvious tribute to the mythical Giulietta which in the Fifties caught the imagination of generations of car enthusiasts, making the dream of owning an Alfa Romeo, with its high level of comfort and technical excellence, possible for the first time.

The new Alfa Giulietta introduces an entirely new platform – referred to as Compact – designed to satisfy the most demanding customers in terms of road-holding, agility and safety.
