Raleigh, NC – The recession has been tough on many people. Businesses are closing and losing revenue. This has created a business climate that has made it difficult to liquidate companies and other assets. Many people do not know how to get rid of their assets and in these cases lose money while trying to sell. At the same time, many liquidation companies charge high commissions on both the buyers and the sellers of these liquidated assets.
The largest liquidation company on the east coast charges a 15 percent commission on all revenue from the seller and then creates a second stream of revenue by charging the buyer more than the fair market value of the items being sold.
A new company has popped up in the Triangle to compete against them. The liquidators charge a 10 percent commission to the seller and refuse to raise the price of the items being sold over the fair market value. This opens up the sale of property to a larger market, saves the seller money and allows assets to be liquidated faster than by normal means.
