Atlanta, GA – November 30, 2011 – Blake “Top Dogg” Rashad has been a professional dog trainer and expert for over 30 years and now he is taking to the internet airwaves to share his love and knowledge of our K-9 friends with the world. On his new internet-based radio talk show, You Talk I Bark, the Top Dogg educates, entertains, and informs listeners about all things dog related, including: nutrition, safety, behaviors, product recalls, training tips, and of course dog bite prevention about which he is most passionate.
Top Dogg also recently founded the Top Dogg K-9 Foundation, which is geared at teaching dog bite prevention mainly to children. “4.7 million people are bit by dogs each year, of which 80% are children or elderly. Of that 80%, 30% of children that are bitten are bitten in the face. Those numbers can be cut in half through dog bite prevention training,” says the dog expert. The K-9 Foundation combines two of Top Dogg’s top passions: education and children. “Anytime I get to combine the two, it’s a good day for me,” he says.

Top Dogg has also become very passionate about the business of radio. He has been enjoying the newfound success of his radio show and continues to gain more attention for it. Top Dogg recently hosted portions of the 2011 Atlanta Pet Expo, affording him the opportunity to interview enthusiastic pet owners, customers, vendors, and even Shorty Rossi from the hit TV show Pit Boss on Animal Planet. And this is only just the beginning. The optimistic expert believes the future holds a nationally syndicated radio show that educates and informs that will move on to be televised one day.
