Local Coach Gets Prestigious National Strength Certification

Strength coach, Karen Goeller has spent a lifetime refining her skills and increasing her knowledge. Most recently, she passed the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Exam. Now Karen Goeller, CSCS has the same certification as the college and pro team strength coaches. Most sports science researchers have this prestigious certification too. The CSCS is the only strength training and conditioning certification to be nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and has been nationally accredited since 1993.

Karen Goeller passed this grueling exam after several months of studying the science behind the training as well as exercise technique. Only those with a four year college degree are eligible to take this exam. Besides the knowledge gained from her college education and the study materials for the CSCS exam, Karen Goeller has many years of experience with sports conditioning. She has been training athletes since 1978.
