LOCAL LASIK SURGEON DONATING TO CHARITY WATER PROJECT

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 23, 2010 -- August 23, 2010, EAST HANOVER, NJ - New Jersey ophthalmologist Dr. Cary Silverman will be donating $100 from every LASIK surgery performed at EyeCare 20/20 between July 14 and Labor Day to help provide safe drinking water to people around the world. He is also encouraging patients who are scheduled for LASIK at EyeCare 20/20 to do the same in order to qualify for a discount on their upcoming procedure.

“In conjunction with Andy Sernovitz and our friends at Gas Pedal, we will attempt to raise $50,000 for charity: water this summer, a very worthy cause,” said Silverman, the Medical Director of EyeCare 20/20. “Together we can use the power of recommendations and referrals to bring clean, safe drinking water to developing nations, we call it See: Water. The more people involved, the more change we can make”.
