Initially Local MugSHOTS was a one page "Freebie" publication that was placed in restaurants, lobbies, offices, etc. It gradually grew to 12 Pages and now is Distributed in 19 States in over 3000 convenience stores.

Over 20,000 copies are being distributed in the Birmingham, AL area this month, over 28,000 by our North Florida Distributor and 55,000 by our South Carolina Distributor. About Me: I am from Murfreesboro, TN and a graduate of MTSU and a former CPA. We moved to Palm Harbor, FL about 5 years ago to pay a visit to my daughter. I had a similar publication when I was in Murfreesboro and was netting about $1800 per week with one employee. I had 80+ retail outlets who were averaging about 50 sold issues each per week.

About the Publication: Our publication is entitled 'Local MugSHOTS' and is a 12 page 'community news' type publication featuring over 250 mugshots of local fugitives in categories including Recent Arrests (could be a friend, neighbor, relative - anyone who was charged with any crime the previous week), 10 Local Most Wanted, Wanted, Violent Crimes, Drug Dealers, Registered Sex Offenders (you will be surprised who lives near you), $Rewards$ Offered, Miscellaneous and also a section for Missing Children. We work closely with local law enforcement agencies including the Sheriff's Department, the Police Department, Crime-Stoppers and occasionally the F.B.I., DEA & U.S. Marshall's Office.

Revenues are derived from the .40 to .50 cents you net off the sale of each issue after paying the store commission and cost of the printing, etc. In addition you keep 100% of the ad revenue. Each issue could have from 10 to 30 or more ads at a minimum of $60 each every 2 weeks.

We take care of all the content, graphics, layout and printing and ship to you the finished copies. With our assistance you take care of distribution and advertising.

Distribution is primarily thru convenience stores as well as a few other type retailers including some major chains. Your area would cover a population of up to 250,000-350,000+ individuals.

A 5000 copy twice-monthy issue with ads can generate $3,500+ every 2 weeks after paying for the printing, layout and distributor commission. 10,000 copies will generate over twice as much! This is a home-managed business with very low overhead. NO ROYALTIES!
