Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) May 9, 2011 -- Doctors Paul and Patrick Baker will be speaking to two different groups of children at Three Rivers Middle School, located at 8575 Bridgetown Road (directions are take 75 North to River Road exit, drive to Cleves, Turn right on Bridgetown Road: From downtown it is approximately 20 minutes.

Tuesday, May 10

They will be speaking to the sixth graders at 7:58am until 8:42am
They will be speaking to the seventh graders at 8:45 until 9:29am

Drs. Paul and Patrick will be kicking off their contest, "Freedom From Fast Food Challenge," and encouraging all of the students to take charge of their own health. Whole Foods Market, from Rookwood, will be there as well. They are bringing fresh fruit to teach the children what to buy and what to eat...and giving them the opportunity for tasting each item! Each child who participates is asked to NOT eat fast food for one month, then write a one or two page paper about their experience. While there are cash prizes, everyone wins their health. Drs. Baker hope this encourages the children to stay healthy over the summer and come back to school in the fall ready to learn! Needless to say, if the children are healthy, absenteeism goes down, learning increases, and the list goes on and on....

In addition to kicking off the contest and the demonstration from Whole Foods, the Doctors Baker will be donating copies of their recently released book, "What Did I Just Eat? Surprising Facts About Food" for the classroom use of Three Rivers Health Teacher, Marietta Bucalo.
