LONGEST MARCH TO START TODAY IN INDIA FOR COW PROTECTION!

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 28, 2009 -- The longest march or padayatra,is due to start today at Kuruksetra,where Lord Krsna appeared to his friend Arjuna to speak the Bhagavad Gita,in order to make the world aware of the importance of cows/bulls in a civilised society.

At the front of the march,several great gurus on India will be present,as they believe that cow protection can solve most of today's problems,such as food shortage and environment.The cow is considered as a residence for 33o million gods and goddesses and the purest and most precious of all animals on Earth for all humanity,and so the best of friends.So most hindus and spiritualists around the world consider this animal to be sacred and worshippable.

The colorful march,including a large statue of a cow,will go through most villages and towns with the sound of cymbals and songs-kirtans- followed by bullock carts,cows and calves,with distribution of pamphlets and books about the sacred creature,and sweets made of cow products will be distributed.

The Indian government has recently approved the support of gosalas or cow shelters of India,with a grant of one million rupees for each,so that retired cows may end their lives peacefully.


REVOLUTIONARY AGRICULTURE

After having found out that his 18 acre plot of land is no longer yielding agricultural produce with modern techniques of chemical fertilisers and pesticides,Mr Subhash Palekar,has researched through the Vedas about the proper techniques,and has written 3 books about this,and experimented on his property with excellent results,using cow dung and urine,with other ingredients.He will also be participating in the march,as he wish to save the lives of many farmers ,so indebted that they are committing suicide daily,due to expensive techniques and products.

The organizers wish tohave the slaughter of cows banned totally in future in India,and so give example to the world,involved so much in the abominable crime,against a gentle and important animal. Most states of India have banned slaughter of cows,except some southern states. prosperity will result when the country will adopt such attitude towards the cow,as well as good health for the population,eating healthy food and milk.

When cows and bulls are treated cruelly,abominable karma results for the country,and desertification/droughts set itself,with a lifeless countryside.Kenya now is experincing such calamity,and does not know how to cure for this.We believe that with cow protection and mantra prayers,everything will become auspicious again,in future.


Even muslims are starting to be aware of the economical value of the cow and now stopping all killing,in the area of Punjab,where they will ban all killing in 2010.

Although cow slaughter is banned in most Indian states,cow trafficking is rampant in India,due to bribery and corruption;the animals are taken from fake cow shelters or from the streets and sent to Bangladesh or the south to get killed,
