Los Gatos Company Rolls Out 2010 Patience Brewster Collection

Los Gatos, California – United States – November 11, 2010 - Los Gatos Company, widely known among Northern Californians for its wonderful assortment of artwork and artistic handcrafted gifts, rolled out the 2010 Patience Brewster Christmas ornament collection this morning, the ninth year in a row that they have featured the whimsical ornaments inspired by her original drawings.

“Patience Brewster’s wonderful whimsical designs were created out of a desire to bring the depictions on her wonderful greeting cards to life,” said the spokesperson. “The creation of the ornaments happened originally when she was discovered by Department 56, who then had them manufactured in the Philippines. When the first batch arrived, Patience was pleasantly surprised that they literally “flew” off the shelves.”

Originally named “Krinkles” by the manufacturer, Patience now markets them under her own name, the Patience Brewster Christmas Collection. The collection includes Santa’s eight reindeer (Dasher, Comet, Dancer, Cupid, Prancer, Donna, Vixen, and Blitzen) and this year she is also offering the entire Twelve days of Christmas collection, a beautiful Nativity scene, along with all her wonderful, whimsical inspirations. Los Gatos Company is owned and operated by Marnie and Andy Bivetto and has been in business more than nineteen years in Los Gatos, California. The gallery’s purpose is to promote American and International crafts, folk art, fine art, furniture and giftware.
