(Free-Press-Release.com) January 24, 2012 -- The 22 year old Croatia defender, Dejan Lovren’s contract with UEFA Champions Contender, Olympique Lyonnais has been extended for two years with the club., i.e. until 30th June 2016.

According to the statement made by club, “He is one of the young players that OL will look to rely on in the future to prolong the new sporting dynamic of the club.”

After joining the Ligue1 outfit from GNK Dinamo Zagreb at the beginning of 2010, Zenica born Lovren has made 49 league appearances. Croatia capped him 13 times.

In the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Lyon play APOEL FC, whereas the first leg scheduled with Stade de Gerland on 14th February.
