Lu Pham, Krista Potter join Cantey Hanger law firm

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 9, 2012 -- Lu Pham, a partner of Lynn Pham & Ross, and Krista Potter, an associate at Lynn Pham & Ross, have joined Cantey Hanger LLP in lateral moves. Both focus their practice on employment law and commercial litigation.

Lu’s practice focuses on:

• Representing clients in court and before administrative agencies against claims of employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, workers compensation retaliation and whistle blowing.
• Representing commercial clients on business litigation matters.
• Serving as National Coordinating Counsel for foreign manufacturers/importers on all litigation matters.
• Representing employers against class actions involving wage and hour claims.
• Negotiating and drafting Executive Compensation Agreements.
• Training employers on effective employment practices, litigation avoidance, compliance with anti-discrimination statutes and wage/hour matters.
• Counseling employers on crisis management.

Lu received his B.A. from The University of Texas-Arlington and his J.D. from The University of Texas Law School. He is a former Adjunct Law Professor at Texas Wesleyan School of Law and former Municipal Judge for the City of Grand Prairie. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, National Asian Pacific Bar, American Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association and the Fort Worth Human Resource Management Association.

He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Tax Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, all Federal District Courts in Texas and the Texas Supreme Court.
Potter received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas-Arlington and her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and New York and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, as well as in the U.S. Tax Court.
Her practice focuses on:

• Representing clients in court and before administrative agencies against claims of employment discrimination, wrongful discharge and sexual harassment.
• Representing clients in court and in arbitration proceedings against various business and commercial litigation claims.
• Training employers and cities on compliance with anti-discrimination statutes, effective employment practices and litigation avoidance.
• Drafting employment contracts and non-compete agreements.
• Investigating all types of employee complaints, including charges of sexual harassment and discrimination.

She has memberships in the State Bar of Texas, State Bar of New York,
