On Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Tanzore Restaurant and Lounge, Jay King, the foremost expert in the independent music business and musical mastermind behind Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Club Nouveau, and Timex Social Club, will provide a full-scale seminar on “Making Dollars & Sense out of the New Music Business”. He will also speak on “how to survive in this music industry and make money using every avenue”.

Mr. King says, “There is a shift of artists turning from major record labels to independent labels. I’m looking forward to talking directly with artists and labels about how they can use my knowledge to help redefine how music is marketed and distributed.”

This one-day music seminar will show artists how to use new business models to build a successful music company, how to promote and market themselves, and how to stay ahead of the game. It will include lunch and delegates will receive a Guidebook filled with important do’s and don’ts by Mr. King, tips and information essential to make it in the business.

The seminar is open to the public and will be held at the Tanzore Restaurant and Lounge, 50 N. La Cienega Ave., Beverly Hills, California 90211. This affordable, one-day event gives artists and their representatives the knowledge, tools, and connections to step into tomorrow’s music business today.
