Malformed Timmy causes chaos in dozens of US Cities

A group of hackers have created chaos by making fake friends on Facebook. From what we understand they will hack in and change someones profile picture then make a post under the name of the persons profile picture they changed announcing a new cartoon character named Malformed Timmy. From then on the hackers will create a new pseudo Facebook account for Malformed Timmy and become friends with the friends of the original person whose Facebook account that they hacked. The owner of the Facebook account that was hacked never knows anything is wrong but all of a sudden the Malformed Timmy hackers are communicating with all of his or her friends. In most cases the hacked accounts friends start posting on Malformed Timmy's Wall and start sending him gifts, wish him happy birthday, even going to meet him in person. So far it seems to be just one big prank and no identifiable information has been stolen but officials warn that you shouldn't become friends with someone just because you think they are friends with one of your friends.
