MANAGERS UNDER PRESSURE IN COPING WITH THE IMPACT OF CONTINUOUS CHANGE
The American Management Association (AMA) and Aniko Czinege of Workwise Communication are providing a free webinar on how leaders and managers can communicate with their employees through change.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 27, 2011 --
A manager’s role has deepened over the last three years with the impact of ongoing change. During times of crisis or uncertainty, employees look to their manager to be a leader who can offer candid and credible information. The manager has the pressure of supporting their employees whilst still achieving organization goals and maintaining morale. This creates considerable pressure for a manager who has often received little training on how to communicate change.
In conjunction with the American Management Association (AMA), Aniko Czinege of Workwise Communication is providing a webinar on how leaders and managers can communicate with their employees through change. This webinar on 16 February 2011 is free but you need to register with the AMA in advance. http://www.amanet.org/training/webcasts/Communicating-with-Employees-through-Change.aspx This Webcast explores time-tested approaches for taking a more proactive role in preparing for changes and effectively communicating them to employees.
You’ll hear how successful leaders have articulated change in times of crisis so you can learn from their successes and mistakes. In addition, you’ll hear about the specific challenges faced during change such as when an organization is in frozen budget limbo and the rumors that get started when employees do not know what the next steps are. Aniko said “it is vital that managers get access to best practice, step-by-step methods and advice that that they can apply right away and I am making sure that we cover those during my webinar”. Aniko will also covering transparent communication that boosts morale in the face of uncertainty, effective communication channels and techniques, how to use measurement to ensure momentum and employee engagement during change and how social media can be a tool for reactions to the changing landscape. This will be backed up by real life internal communication case studies.
