I have owned several dogs in my life time, mostly coon hounds, and rabbit dogs, which I will blog about in another blog. The one breed that I have a special passion for is the German Shepard. The first German Shepard I owned, I was in my very early twenty's, I was at work one night and a co worker and friend of mine, Bob Pate Told me that someone had offered him a German Shepard puppy and he took him on a whim,not thinking he rely didn't have the means to keep him. He knew I lived in the country and had enough land to let him run and play, he also knew I loved animals, so he asked me if I would like to have him, my eyes lit up, sure I said I would give him a good home.
