Avondale, AZ- (11/17/2009) National storyteller K. Sean Buvala has released his latest project in the form of the new book, "DaddyTeller: How to Be a Hero to Your Kids and Teach Them What's Really Important by Telling One Simple Story at a Time." In the book, Sean teaches Dads (and Moms too) how to put down the storybooks and truly engage their children through the power of storytelling. While learning to look their children in the eye, parents find out how to pass on values to their children while subtly instilling new learning-success skills. The new book (with eight bedtime stories) is available in paperback or Ebook download at www.daddyteller.com. Also at the site, guests can download a free chapter of the book and view training videos at no cost.

"One May 2009 survey shows that nearly half of all dads don't participate in a crucial parenting action: sharing bedtime stories with their children. Storytelling also helps to build reading and math skills. In the new DaddyTeller book, I teach dads to put down the storybook and tell stories to their children, providing them with eight ready-to-tell stories. I teach them what to say and how to say it. I also write about details as to what to do with their hands. It is a step-by-step approach to growing, teaching and loving their kids," says the author, Sean Buvala. He continued, "Although all parents can benefit from the things I teach in the book, it is written in dad-centered, non-flowery language. It was great fun to write."

In addition to his work as an award-winning storyteller and director of Storyteller.net, Sean is the father of four children. "No parent in their right mind would allow a complete stranger to have unlimited access to their kids, yet on average, children spend four hours per day in various unsupervised media such as television and the Internet. Compare that with the fact that the average dad spends less than 30 minutes per day with their kids and you can see where problems develop. I am providing dads with a chance to not only bond with their kids but use some focused time to help their kids learn values and increase their school skills. What parent, of either gender, wouldn't want that?"

Purchasers of the book get free Internet access to additional stories, articles and members-only videos that expand on the training in the book
