Maritime Defense Systems International Update for 5/15/2011

TO ALL IT MAY CONCERN;

It has been two and a half months since I arrived in the “Windy City”, Yakima and I have had the pleasure of experiencing allergies for the first time in my life. I have been as they say, “Pollenated”.

Over the last weeks, I have been going through boxes and boxes of Team One and Radix material looking for material to use in marketing and records of the various tests that were performed by, among others, US Navy Undersea Warfare Group, Navy Special Warfare Group (read SOCOM), Northrop-Grumman and Raytheon. The results are quite impressive and they back-up the reasons for my choosing the GB-12 in the first place.

Today we have moved the GB-12 to a location here so that we can start the process of restoring it to new condition, including the re-installation of all of the communication and navigation equipment/instrumentation. We will then put the GB-12 in the Columbia River so that we can take potential customer on the boat ride of their life. One potential customer will be here in Mid-June we just haven’t determined the exact date for their arrival and should know that info this coming Monday.

While we were making efforts marketing the GB-12, prior to my arrival, we had limited reproducible information, documents, photos and send the Radix pdf that is downloadable on the website. Now we have a nice Power Point Presentation in both English, Spanish. And also converting to other languages as needed. Since formalizing our relationship, I have done what I have always done for nearly 30 years, I involve the US Embassy in each country we are working. This means the ODC (Office of Defense Cooperation) or the MAG (Military Assistance Group) and the Dept. of Commerce. Neither the ODC or MAG (this depends on size of the country) can promote a product or system. They can only assist in coordinating the contracts, etc. It is the Dept. of Commerce that promotes and they always have a person dedicated to defense issues. So now we have 7 Embassies around the world working with us. Four in South and Central America and three in Africa.

I am reluctant to name the countries as there is a particularly nasty lawyer with rabies out there that can not afford to have Radix be a successful company. With MDSI’s efforts to market the vessel globally being met with a very warm reception, it would be just like him to contact the embassies of our 7 potential customers and slander both Radix and MDSI. There has been talk amongst some of the larger shareholders to initiate a lawsuit against his firm and him personally as a class action effort. This would not be a bad idea in my opinion and a form of poetic justice.

I can say that we are in good contact with a particular Joint Inter-Agency Task Force, which is Navy, Coast Guard, ICE, DEA and a few others, that is dedicated to stopping Narco-terrorists (the drug smugglers are now using submarines) and the GB-12 with the Northrop-Grumman AN/AQS-24 side-scan sonar is the perfect answer.
