Mark Connors, Country Music's Best Kept Secret

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 12, 2011 -- Big Star Records recording artist Mark Connors has been tapped by writer/director John Ritchie to star in a series of reality show vignettes for You Tube called "Country Music's Best Kept Secret". A trailer for the series posted last week, and the first installment will post January 11th.

The series follows Mark, a true cowboy that lives the ultimate country music lifestyle. Touring, recording, and industry meetings go head-on with big-time fun, whether it's Mark dirt biking near Tim & Faith's house or simply grabbing a burger down at Puckett's with Dierks. The series provides insight as to why Mark Connors is known as "Country Music’s Best Kept Secret".

“Mark is everything awesome that's happening in country music right now.” said Ritchie. “I believe that Mark can do for country music what The Situation did for The Jersey Shore."

While Mark continues his demanding tour schedule and promotion of his recently released single “Broken In” and CD “It's All About The Country”, his ability to win fans over and reach a mainstream audience is exactly what his label, Big Star Records, expects from the hardest working man in country music.

Ritchie is a Nashville-based writer (GAC's Top 20, MTV Movie Awards) who recently started Gold Sounds Entertainment, a company that produces music oriented content for television and the web, including the country music news blog Carl's Country Club.
