Mark Pannek Is a Successful Professional in Risk Management

Mark Pannek is an experienced professional in senior management, risk compliance, audit and outsourcing (domestic/international). He specializes in successful handling of financial risk, operational risk, IT risk, vendor risk and Regulatory Compliance (e.g. GLBA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Anti-Money Laundering, BASEL etc.). He also excels in areas of accounting, finance, investments, negotiations and strategic leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked with various companies and has managed departments specializing in banking loan operations and systems such as mortgage and I/C loans. He has successfully managed mortgage and consumer loan systems and operations as well as consumer fraud departments. Additionally, he took care of IT audit and loan controls.

Mark Pannek has served as Vice President, Risk Management of Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH. He was tasked with the responsibility for directing information risk governance program for bank which included operational and IT risk management, info security, loan operations, fraud management, outsourcing and outside service providers. He re-engineered and implemented strategy for monitoring operational losses consistent with BASEL II. Mr. Pannek also developed, designed and implemented new program for due diligence and control environment reviews of outside service providers meeting all regulatory requirements.

In addition to his professional works, Mark Pannek also coaches youngsters in sports such as football and basketball. He has coached Boys Youth Football for five years and Boys Youth Basketball for three years and Girls Youth Basketball for a period of three years.
