FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 24, 2010 --
Mark Sharma condemns in the strongest possible terms the anti Muslim comments made by Liberal Candidate for Chifley Mr. David Barker. Mark Sharma believes that this open discrimination and vilification of religious minorities must end now and this is directly related to the anti immigration stance that both Labor and Liberals are taking. Every time a prominent politician talks about cutting immigration it inspires those with racist mindset to come forward and vilify immigrants and religious minorities.
Liberal Party has already announced that it will cut immigration and Labor Leader Julia Gillard and Tony Burke, Labor MP for Watson and Minister for "Sustainable Population" have also stated that they don't support a "Big Australia".
Mark Sharma fears that this Anti immigration campaign which is underway under the disguise of "Sustainable Population" can damage cordial inter community relations that have existed for so many years.
Mark Sharma calls on Julia Gillard, Tony Burke & Tony Abbott to stop playing politics with the issue of immigration and support the rights of all religious faiths whether it is Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism and all other faiths that have not been mentioned.
Mark Sharma would also like to remind people like David Barker that God can never support those who Politicize him for Political Gains.
