Stanley Wellington, the company’s founder, creative genius and writer/producer of multiple screenplays, novels and media projects has made a prophetic declaration, “A MARR LAND FILMS production will make headlines as a major feature film in 2011.”

Since May of 2001, Mr. Wellington has kept his commitment to follow his passion, and this has resulted in several completed media projects along with four published novels. He most recently produced an experimental one-man production of a short film entitled, “WHAT BLIND MEN CAN SEE.” This project features his writing, directing, acting, camera, sound, lighting and editing talents and has already been submitted for consideration to the Maryland Film Festival. Mr. Wellington is now concentrating most of his attention and efforts on his latest film in development; a Romantic Comedy tentatively entitled, “I KISSED A GIRL.”

Just a few more key acting roles are in the process of being cast before production begins, “… I am shooting for a mid-January start date.” he announces with confidence. Although his name is not yet commonly spoken in the mass media, Mr. Wellington has garnered the attention from numerous professionals in the media and entertainment industry. A humble, yet gifted talent, Mr. Wellington has good cause to believe that 2011 is the year which will define his future success in the film world.
