Marryabroad.co.uk unveils new look

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 31, 2011 -- Destination wedding website marryabroad.co.uk has unveiled a new-look website, designed to send even more brides to its featured wedding providers.

“After almost 6 years online, we decided the time was right to update the site in time for the prime wedding season in January,” says Charlotte Hand, Director. “We've included more colour than before to inspire brides on those cold winter days, and the site is now much more interactive for our visitors too. We have included video, twitter and blog feeds and links to our iphone app on most pages. Our aim with this redesign was to keep the simplicity of the site (you can still reach our clients' websites in only 2 clicks from our homepage), but give brides even more information at the touch of a mouse.”

The site has simplified matters by compiling just one information page about each country (reached from each main country page), so visitors can now see marriage legalities, maps, weather, and videos all in one place. Wedding planners, hotels and resorts are still on main country pages, with additional links to each of their social media accounts and videos. This should allow brides to “view before they buy” and give as much information as possible for them to make the right decision before selecting their wedding provider.

Marry Abroad is also turning its blog into a “magazine” style information portal for all couples searching for a wedding abroad. It will now publish relevant news from any destination wedding provider, not just its own news and clients, so visitors can see what's new and changing in the market.

“We've grown fast this year,” continues Charlotte, “as we're on track to reach 400,000 visitors by the end of the year. So we're anticipating even more interest in 2012 when the new wedding season starts, and this new design should help our visitors find what they want even quicker and easier than before.”
