Martial Arts in Fort Collins: Trybz Martial Arts

Fort Collins, Colorado, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 28, 2010 -- The first thing that you will notice when entering Trybz Martial Arts (trybzma.com) is the huge mural that encompasses the north wall of the school. It is at least 30 feet long and 15 feet high and looks to be a combination of ruins, forest, Native American, and a scene from Thailand. The second thing that you would notice is the full sized Octagon cage similar to the UFC fighting events.

So, what does Trybz martial arts teach? What do they have to offer the general public? How long have they been around? As with most martial arts schools, there are too many questions to answer easily, so lets work on the main ones.

What does Trybz teach? Trybz has a few main programs offered to regular students. They have a mixed martial arts program that includes fitness, grappling, wrestling, jiu-jutsu, and kickboxing. They have a weapons only class that works mostly Japanese weapons. They also have a tribal martial arts program that is more traditional. This art is called, "Akumu-Ryu Bujutsu", which translates to "nightmare warrior tradition".

How long have they been teaching in the Fort Collins area? Trybz has been teaching martial arts in Fort Collins for over 20 years. They have two of the highest ranking black belts in Colorado. This isn't to surprising, considering Fort Collins has at least two other martial arts schools that have been around that long or longer. What is surprising, is that they have some students that have been training with the school for over 17 years. This usually doesn't happen in most martial arts schools. It is a testament to their experience that they have students for that length of time.

What do they have to offer the general public? The answer: quite a bit. Trybz has a complete MMA program, traditional martial arts program, fitness, pilates, and kickboxing. They also offer private lessons were a student can study such things as: ninjutsu, kenpo, ban thai, escrima, jeet kune do, etc.
