The 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe introduces the first-ever application of a new 3.7-liter engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift technology, rated at 330 horsepower and containing approximately 35 percent new and unique parts from the previous generation 3.5-liter engine

Infiniti G37 comes in a 2-door coupe body style in Base, Journey and Sport trim variants with available Technology and Premium packages

Infiniti G37 is powered by a 3.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine rated at 330 HP at 7000 RPM with a torque rating of 270 lbs.-ft. at 5200 RPM, coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and downshift rev matching or a 6-speed manual transmission (available on Sport models only)

Standard safety features include Vehicle Dynamic Control with anti-lock brakes and traction control, plus an array of frontal, side and side-curtain airbags

The Infiniti G37 enhanced platform and chassis offers the optional Infiniti-exclusive 4-wheel Active Steer System which helps improve vehicle handling by adjusting both the front steering gear ratios and the rear suspension geometry according to vehicle speed and steering input

Along with utilizing larger displacement than the previous powerplant, the G37 engine uses hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing and electronically controlled variable valve lift on the intake side to help improve performance and response

All-wheel drive models use state-of-the-art intelligent all-wheel drive system called Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split in which the system's advanced torque split control strategy automatically transfers optimum torque to the wheels according to road and driving conditions through an active center differential

LED taillights provide maintenance-free operation and bright visual recognition for following drivers during braking

The rear design separates the shock absorbers and springs, locating the shock absorbers in line with the wheel center to help reduce suspension friction

An Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage supplemental airbags with seat belt sensors and RF occupant classification sensor helps protect front seat occupants in the event of a frontal impact

Standard 3-point ALR/ELR seat belts (driver side ELR only) and front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters and adjustable upper anchors help add comfort and protection to occupants

Zone body construction with front and rear crush zones helps disperse crash energy around the passenger compartment
