Maui Tropical Soaps Donates Soap to Earthquake and Tsunami Victims

Maui, Hawaii, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 4, 2011 -- As Japan recovers from the devastating earthquake and tsunami which struck earlier this month, companies such as Maui Tropical Soaps are donating products to assist in the relief efforts.

Maui Tropical Soaps pledged more than 500 pounds of soap to the victims in need and living in shelters. Sending the fresh glycerin soap is just one of the ways the company’s CEO, Richard Stillman, says they are giving to the people of Japan. Earlier this week the company implemented a “Buy One, Get One” program allowing their customers to contribute to the cause. For each soap a customer purchases, Maui Tropical Soaps will match their purchase by sending one bar of soap overseas.

“My hope is to bring a small bit of happiness into their lives amid such tragedy,” said Stillman. “There is so much I wish we could do for them, and with our customers' help we can continue to contribute soap.”

There are more than 100,000 people whom were displaced and living without basic necessities. With the help of companies like Maui Tropical Soaps and their loyal customers, the people of Japan are able to continue moving forward in the rebuilding of their lives.

The company has already received dozens of letters from the people of Japan, as well as customers thanking the company for their efforts. “Your heart touched us! I am so glad that the owner's heart and personality is as wonderful as the soaps that you make,” wrote one survivor.
