Maxton Manufacturing Company Held (CET) Certified Elevator Technician Valve Training at University of Louisville

Minden, NV –Maxton Manufacturing Company held Maxton Control Valve training at the University of Louisville in Kentucky on Wednesday November 16th. The five attending including three elevator mechanics, one apprentice and their supervisor will all receive 4.0 credit hours towards continuing education certification for 2011. This elevator crew maintains 135 elevators in total across the University with 80 of those being hydraulic elevators. “This was the first time many of these mechanics had training for Maxton valves. It was clear they learned a great deal and will benefit daily by applying their new found knowledge,” said Karl Keller Marketing Director.

The training was given by Billy Shrum Technical Manager at Maxton. The class learned about Maxton products, factors that affect performance of the valve and hydraulic system, adjusting valves, trouble shooting problems, and a few tips and time saving steps to aid with mechanic efficiency in the field. “I would like to thank the University of Louisville for this opportunity to provide Maxton training and I hope we can do it again in the future,” said Billy Shrum Technical Manager.
